Trevor Oleniuk has recently joined the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) team here at the Law Society. He comes to this role with a broad range of experience, in both Saskatchewan and Manitoba. After graduating from law school in 2009, Trevor worked at a large multi-service firm, at the University of Saskatchewan (in the area of clinical research) and then at a free legal clinic in Saskatoon’s inner city. While there, his interest in under-represented areas of law, such as residential tenancy and social assistance work, blossomed alongside other more common areas such as criminal or administrative law.
After moving to Winnipeg in 2015, Trevor worked as a sole practitioner and as an investigator at the Human Rights Commission. He is keenly interested in adjectival legal topics such as legal research, writing, and maintaining balance between time inside and outside of the office. In that capacity, Trevor enjoys spending time outside as often as possible, most commonly riding a bike.
Trevor will be planning CPD programs so you can expect to hear from him if you are one of our much valued presenters or you will see him in the classroom when you attend your next CPD program.
