With an aging population living longer than ever, it is important to discuss legal tools for incapacity planning with your client as part of their overall estate plan. This course is designed for lawyers new to the practice of wills and estates, as well as those looking to brush up on basic concepts.

  • Overview of the Public Guardian and Trustee
  • The Adults Living with an Intellectual Disability Act
  • The Infants’ Estates Act
  • Committeeships under The Mental Health Act
  • Health Care Directives
