After several years of webinar programs, the Northern Bar CPD is back in-person and in The Pas. Please join us for this opportunity to learn and connect in the same room with your Northern colleagues.

There has been strong demand for practical information and guidance in the area of criminal law. Topics on the program agenda this year include:

• Effective bail planning
• Cross-examination including redirect do’s and don’ts
• Pre-sentence reports

 
The final presentation of the day will be an informal “Ask the Judiciary” session for you to engage with the judges in a conversational, relaxed way. Chief Judge Rolston, Judge Rambow and Judge Briscoe will each share their perspectives and tips on practise in the North.
