For its 2025 Homecoming event and to recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the Faculty of Law invites you to join the 3^rd Annual conference of the Interdisciplinary Journal of Indigenous Inaakonigewin to explore the origins of Indigenous Reconciliation in Canada. Presenters will examine where we started and how far we have yet to come – from the Aboriginal Justice Inquiry to the Truth & Reconciliation Commission and the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2SLGBTQI+ people.
 
The conference is open to students, faculty, practitioners and the public and offers an opportunity for the University of Manitoba to host, engage with, debate, and discuss scholarly and artistic works related to Indigenous peoples and the law.
