As we reflect on the past few years and look forward to the year ahead, everyone here at the Law Society (especially the CPD team) would like to express our most sincere gratitude to all of the incredible volunteers who have contributed so substantially to the education of their colleagues.

We’ve come through a challenging time and you have continued to stand with us as we adjusted to new ways of educating our profession. A major highlight of the past year has been the opportunity to connect face-to-face with volunteers and attendees as we return to offering some in-person CPD programming.

Thank you to all our CPD program volunteers for generously sharing your time and expertise in the planning and teaching of the important skills and substantive law that the profession needs.

We also want to thank the volunteers who have spent countless hours to provide expertise for the written resources posted on our Practice Resource library. This past year you helped us with the significant task of updating Family Law & Child Protection materials as well as the Wills and Estates material. So much of the work we do would simply not be possible without your support!

In honour of your contributions to your colleagues, made with such dedication and commitment to excellence, the Law Society is “paying it forward” with a contribution to Law(yer) Strong, the peer support organization for our legal community.
